Project Description:

Overland Ponds, located near Fort Collins, Colorado, is a series of five lined reservoirs that were completed in the beginning of 2016. The project began in 2004 and was compiled from 5 different landowners. The end user on 3 of the reservoirs is a partnership between Greeley and Tri-districts. The reclamation incorporated a combination of clay liners and slurry walls to isolate the ponds from groundwater. Reservoirs 1 and 2 are clay lined, reservoirs 4 and 5 are slurry walled due to the lack of available clay for a liner. Reservoir 3 uses a hybrid liner, half slurry wall and half clay liner.
